I recommend TDH to anyone in need of any Heating or cooling need. They provide a great value, do excellent work, address problems promptly and are HONEST people. TDH installed two new A/C systems in my home in 2023. I was so happy with their work, I referred them to neighbors who all had similar experiences. Last January (2024), my Mother's furnace went out and TDH had a new system in a day later. Now here in July 2025, we are selling my Mom's Condo. After the sale, the ancient 30+ yr old A/C stopped working. The TDH tech, Ken came out and inside 10 minutes identified that a switch behind panel that covers the furnace control board had come lose causing a safety switch to become unpressed. Cost: Zero Dollars and part of the furnace warranty. How many companies in this space do you think would have put a quote for a new system in my hand? If you are in the market, your best move is to call TDH.

Best Service - Best Technician Firstly, there is consistency. TDH techs are all good. But having the same one for 15 years is outstanding. Wally has installed our furnace, tankless hot water system, radiant heating in floor and ceiling. Secondly, the work Wally performs not only is outstanding but the details in laying out the radiant system is a thing of beauty. Shows the care that TDH puts into their service. Thirdly, is consulting on complex projects - TDH (Tim and Wally) did great work in consulting on the design. Few in Chicago would even quote on our needs for a tankless hot water and radiant heating. All of the recommendations worked out perfectly. For service Jacquie is always responsive - and on the few times over the years we’ve needed service she has been fast and very communicative. Highly recommend TDH for any HVAC needs.

Great service. I had a lingering issue with my heat. TDH was very cooperative and kept sending mechanics out to help solve the issue. They didn’t charge me for the extra visits throughout the winter when the same problem kept occurring. Ken the mechanic was great. He was able to walk me through what he was doing which allowed me to learn more about HVAC systems. Great customer service overall!

Contracted TDH to replace heating/cooling systems for the entire house in late 2022. 5 companies were evaluated with TDH on top for the equipment brands, pricing (tied with another contractor), and warranty. The installation took three days and were as scheduled with no issues. Recently had a problem with the heating system and TDH responded and fixed the issue same day (Ken did excellent job in identifying the part required and went personally picked up/replaced the part). I would recommend TDH to my friends!

Excellent experience throughout - responsive, punctual, professional, efficient, and great quality installation from what I can tell. They weren’t the least expensive but also not the most. Very happy that they scheduled quote, sent quote, did the job, and cleaned up after themselves. Will use again.
