My furnace went out on Friday. My former furnace firm told me that day that they could not get to my place until Tuesday (a solo operator who apparently has not arranged any backup when he takes time off). I live in Chicago and the temps are very low right now, so I started contacting other firms. Shavitz was highly recommended by several neighbors, and I see why! They scheduled me for Saturday afternoon even though I had never been their customer. Niall, their technician, was extremely competent and professional and really fun to talk to (passionate about Irish politics, so interesting!). Shavitz is now my go-to furnace company.

We were having a lot of issues with our air quality. After talking with Mr. Bronson Shavitz, he recommended the solace filter system and the oxy4 respicaire. The best decision we ever did. After few hours, the EcoBee already showed improvement in the air quality. The installer, Cosmin, was absolutely amazing. Very pleasant and super respectful (also cleaned everything after the work was done). Already scheduled the humidifier replacement and can’t wait to switch my system to a new Heat Pump (recommended by them).

Nelson was great, he helped us connect a humidity and heat reading Savant sensor to the Savant thermostat. As well he rewired the humidifier in order to work properly. He was very professional, and we are very happy with his work. We had previously contacted other companies, but they didn't seem to know anything about the Savant system.

Karol came for our bi-annual check of our furnace/hvac and it went really well! He was prompt (came on time to the minute), quick, polite, and educated me on things like the humidifier, filters, and flame sensors. He also talked me through all the readings and what they mean. He was very professional, and my dog was barking the entire time which was very annoying for him but he didn’t care at all.
