I had intended to leave this review much sooner after the team at Plus Hardwood Flooring refinished the floors in my home, but I'm very pleased to say that with the passage of several months the floors still look great and we couldn't be happier! I let Patrick know what we were looking for, and he offered great suggestions for how to achieve the desired finish, color, and durability at a lower cost than if we'd gone with my original idea. Patrick's communication was fantastic throughout the process, and his crew were efficient and considerate. I highly recommend Patrick for all hardwood flooring needs! He was really great to work with throughout the process, clearly knew what he was talking about and was patient with me and all my questions throughout. We weren't able to be there during the entire process, so he graciously made several videos and sent many photos to make sure I understood everything and saw everything that was going on with my own eyes. And by the way, he refinished our floors to look better than brand new. I didn’t even realize the extent to which they were beat up until we saw the wood reach its true potential! He also is just great to talk to because he provides input when you ask for it, rather than some contractors who will just do what you ask them to without providing any sort of opinion on whether it may be a terrible idea. The pricing for refinishing our hardwood floors and staircase was also reasonable after comparing with a few others in the area. Patrick and his team also did a very good job of keeping everything clean and going the extra mile when they could, for example sanding down some wood stoppers nearby that I hadn't even initially requested but made all the difference. Thank you for all your hard work, Patrick! Looking forward to calling you up again once we're ready to re-do our second floor!

Patrick and his crew did an absolutely phenomenal job installing all new red oak floors in the second story of my home, along with completely renovating and restoring the main staircase. Our dining room and staircase were the only two areas with original flooring; Patrick was able to match the hardwood and stain perfectly to create a seamless finish throughout the entire house. At the outset of the project, the main staircase, railings, treads, and banisters had been painted black; Patrick laid out a new plan to remove the existing staircase, expect for the risers, treads, and landings. In their place he installed new IBC compliant railings, spindles, and bannisters in matching red oak; this not only updated the home, but added a layer of safety for our family. I cannot adequately compliment Patrick's crews enough; they did an absolutely superb job in laying the floor, and working around some challenging corners throughout the bedroom. One area in particular where his workers went above and beyond was in the primary bedroom closet. In the closet there is a spiral staircase which is bolted into the subfloor, the three bolts holding the base of the stairs into the floor extend up approximately 1/4" - 1/2"; his workers covered the bolts, and blended the corners by removing small sections of the backing so the new flooring slid into place, making for a clean and seamless finish. If you are looking for skilled passionate artisans, an eye for detail, and pride in the finished product, Plus Hardwood Flooring is the company for you! We look forward to working with Patrick and his crew again in the future!
