Ciprian, his dad, and his cousin are absolute pros. We decided to get our floors refinished shortly after closing on our new home. Ciprian was incredibly responsive from start to finish and completed the job before the promised date without taking any shortcuts. Our goal was to retain the character of our old hardwood floors while protecting them for many years to come. Ciprian guided us through his recommendation while being thoughtful in his responses to all our questions. Very grateful for Ciprian and the team. We’re in love with our new floors!

When I was gathering quotes, they were the fastest response time and were thorough in their explanation of the quote breakdown. I also had to cancel the initial time we agreed on and they were flexible on honoring the deposit and rescheduling for when I closed on a house. During the refinishing process, I was sent regular updates and photos. They actually finished a day ahead of schedule too. I really appreciated their great customer service, friendliness, and the education on how to care for the floors. I’d happily work with Ciprian Hardwood Flooring again and will recommend them to others!

“They did an amazing job .”

They did an amazing job . Very quick and fast. In one day they came and did the demolition, then came back to drop off the new hardwood floor to temper. Would highly recommend. Matched colors almost perfectly. ( Where does the old floor end and new floor begin in the following picture? hint: it's not the blue tape, but the transition is somewhere there!)

Ciprian Hardwood Flooring did an awesome job refinishing the hardwood floors in my apartment that haven't been refinished in at least 40 years. The floors came out looking like new. Every defect was fixed and they left the rooms clean and picked up. Ciprian was communicative throughout the process. He even sent progress photos of the work throughout the day.

Ciprian and his father do excellent work! I tasked him to refinish ALL the floors and a staircase in my 1890’s home…with varying wood type, condition of wood, etc. The end results were great and he helped us figure out the best stain to match the trim throughout the house. There were areas where the wood was quite weathered (and ought to be replaced) but Ciprian did his best to preserve and refinish. Just as important, Ciprian was the most communicative throughout the project and stayed committed to the original timeframe. I’ve never worked with a contractor as accountable as him. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

“We recently had our hardwood floors updated.”

We recently had our hardwood floors updated. They were about 20 years old and had a lot of wear and tear including floor damage (some burn marks, floor chipping etc.) . Ciprian came on time and finished ahead of time. They were extremely professional (respectful of the home, very clean, etc). The job they did was fantastic -it was so much better than I could have imagined. I feel like my house is brand new and wish I did this sooner. I would definitely use them again. Also - we shopped around and their prices were extremely fair. These photos are the same spot (didn't take good before photos) but you can see the difference from the before to after is amazing. The floors are so smooth and clean. I highly recommend!

Ciprian did a fantastic job of refinishing the original floors in my old Chicago home. There were quite a few stains where I wasn’t sure if they could be sanded out, but Ciprian and team was able to get them out, along with sanding out a tough area where tile had been on the hardwood. Also really nice job on some custom transitions. Overall: g reat communication, fair pricing and wonderful looking floor results. Added before/after photo of main living area.

Ciprian and his family did an AMAZING job on refinishing my hardwood floors! I purchased a condo with very worn down, scratched, and tired looking floors and Ciprian was able to bring the original hardwood floors back to life and replaced some broken floorboards as well - before and after pictures attached to show the huge difference! I was on a tight schedule for getting the work done and Ciprian worked very efficiently and delivered an amazing final product, and was very communicative throughout the whole process. I highly recommend this family owned business for all floor refinishing work!
