Our furnace stopped working suddenly tonight (Friday) and the weekend forecast was for below zero temps. After calling multiple companies who would not come out until a later date, PHD came out the same night. They were onsite within an hour and got the unit working very quickly. Hands down one of the best HVAC services in Chicago! I sell real estate and refer all my clients to them as well. Responsive, and brutally honest, and will not try to upsell you. I even asked if my furnace needed to be replaced and he said “no, it was just poorly installed. We can work with it.” I knew them Dymetrov was my guy. He is very fair, and does great work, super knowledgeable. I even had his company come back to clean my vents and did an excellent job. I had my furnace go out when it was 20 degrees outside and I was going out of town. He came back at 9pm to finish the job to allay my concerns about my pipes freezing! Top notch. Don’t call anyone else—you’re wasting your time, and will pay too much.

Contacted them about an old boiler and they promptly scheduled an appointment. Dmytro was super knowledgeable about hot water heating systems, which was a relief because it's tough to find people that work on them, let alone are as experienced as he is. He was able to troubleshoot my system and come up with a plan to repair it. He pointed out a lot of places where someone had installed parts of the system incorrectly, or without fully understanding how things were meant to work together, and he clearly explained why these things were an issue. We agreed on the scope of work and it was executed quickly and with a high degree of craftsmanship. I'd happily use them for all my heating and cooling needs going forward.
