I am a tech support representative for Heat-pumps. We had an issue where a contractor diagnosed a complete bad system Heat-pump and Evaporator Coil. I called Rory as he is our trusted source. Rory got on site and found perimeters and points were not as per the manufacturer. He made the adjustments and got positive results. We authorized an entire new unit as we were under the impression from the past technician the system was shot? Come to have it Rory being an honest contractor and educated in heat pumps did the recommend settings for the heat pump system and now the homeowner is happy and doesn’t want the system replaced under warranty. I give credit where credit is due and I would Recommend NORTHWIND hvac for your heat pump installations and service calls. Great Job Rory keep up the good work my friend….

I came to know of Northwind through the Bosch website. Rory (the owner) is in Wicker Park and has always been available to come discuss my complicated plans of trying to electrify my old apartment. Northwind H&AC installed my first heat pump along with the new furnace system by Bosch last month. I was blown away by the kindness of Rory, the owner, when he came and volunteered to set up a window unit so that we could go through the heat wave safely which was coming before the appointment day. He knew I just had a health issue, and a cool bedroom was greatly helpful. I also liked that a specialized recycler works with this company for responsible disposal. While 12 years is needed to tell whether the quality of products and installation are as good as promised, I have every reason to be confident that they will be. I highly recommend this business.
