Highly recommend. It’s refreshing to find a reliable contractor who is responsive, fair on pricing, and does great work. I first discovered Mihai and Unique Flooring when our unit had a water leak and the hardwood floors needed repair. He cut out the warped board and patched the floor so good and you’d never know. We then used him again to refi ish all the floors and replace the carpet on our stairs and bedroom, and again the work has great. We have used them a third time to repair a stain that had permeated into the wood. We were on a tight timeline with new tenants moving in a he got us on the schedule within a week (they worked very hard the weekend to fit it in). The crew always completely cleans up too. If you need any hardwood floor work, this is your company!

We hired Unique Flooring to rip out carpets in two bedrooms, refinish the main rooms and install soundproofing and hardwood throughout our condo. They were fast, VERY clean, and did impeccable work. Communication was easy. We were blown away at the craftsmanship and how beautiful our floors look! I would highly recommend them for their beautiful work!

Mike and his team did a fantastic job on my hardwood floors! The quality of work was great, they were on time, and within budget. Mike provided me with the estimate in a timely manner, and I really liked that he met me on the job site the morning that they started the work to make sure he was clear on the work that needed to be completed. Communication was overall good, could have been a touch better, but not a big issue. I would highly recommend Unique Flooring!

They removed carpet in several places, installed our basement flooring, refinished the hardwoods on the main floor, and installed new hardwood in the master. Their work and attention to detail was fantastic. Mike also was very easy to reach throughout the process and actively reached out often to update us in progress. While their work is high quality, they also were very very efficient. The job was done in less than a week.

Now it looks like a new floor, couldn’t be happier. I felt the price was very fair based on the results. Mike was quick to respond, quick with the quote and quick to complete the job. Mihai and his team were amazing. Responsive, efficient, and they did a beautiful job. I had a limited window to have carpet removed and hardwood put in before I moved and they worked with my schedule and were incredibly communicative.
