Watchout, Jeremy is a likeable guy. If you are looking for someone who gets the job done and has a larger than life personality, this is the company to work with.
Our project was nothing short of fantastic, and it wasn't a small project either. Jeremy and Lindsay both have the gift of hiring the right people to get the job done. As with any project, you uncover things that you may not have thought about, but Jeremy would make sure we didn't cut corners and always addressed the issues upfront and talked about the options and the pros and cons. The Framers he has are absolutely the best in the business, they know their stuff and take pride in their work. Niki worked with my family and I to make sure tile, cabinets and color schemes made sense through the whole home.
Jeremy was very attentive and makes you feel like you are his only customer, taking calls, emails and text messages all hours of the day. If there was ever a problem, he address it right away. His finishing carpenters (if that's even a real thing) are something else as well, we ended up adding a new deck to our project, and the craftsmanship is amazing, as well as the interior millwork and finishings.
I'm sure they will post photos of the finished product, but we couldn't be happier.

We love the remodel of our home’s first floor. We now have an open floor plan. Working with everyone at Tristone and all the trades was a good experience. Good communication and follow through, quality craftsmanship, quality materials, and under budget even though we also added fixing the home’s HVAC airflow and upgrading and moving the basement electric panel.

We took some time to pull the trigger on a major renovation/home remodel. Old home, beautiful lot in Fox River Grove. Our backyard backs up to Spring Creek and feeds into the Fox River. We love living here and our neighborhood is our sanctuary. We met with a number of General Contractors, five actually. One provided a quote over the phone, not kidding. I knew when we met with TriStone Development, we had landed. Jeremy and Lindsay Velichkoff have a tight streamlined process. Their business model and real-time spreadsheet is transparent and allows the homeowner to be informed and track expenses. As you can imagine an old home presents challenges with demo discovery. Jeremy is a no-nonsense, “get-er-done” type of guy. He is also solution minded. Whenever he informed us of an unexpected issue, he always presented with a solution. The sub-contractors he works with are all top-notch. Some plans changed along the way, because Jeremy and/or the tradesmen offered improved suggestions. We had the joy of working with their design team. Niki Ryan provided wonderful insight and design visuals every step of the way. She tracked numerous project details, I would never have known to even ask. Our home has been transformed and we could not be more pleased with the outcome, especially the process. The TriStone team values relationships and took the time to get to know us and anticipates our needs. They are terrific communicators, very responsive and kept to the schedule. I highly recommend TriStone Development.
Oh and did I mention, we packed up a POD and moved out of our home November 7, 2023. We were at the gate at O’Hare, 8am and my neighbor sent a picture, the crew was on site and demo had begun, TriStone did not miss a beat! Our home was remodeled while we were out-of-state, because we trusted our GC.

We completed a major renovation and large addition to our lake home working with Keith at TriStone. From our initial meeting to post project Keith was always available and on-site. He listened to our vision, offered good design ideas and executed as planned. TriStone has good relationships with multiple tradesmen who do quality work. When any unexpected issues arose Keith communicated with us right away and often with more than one possible solution. We especially valued Keith's good communication and follow-up, ability to solve problems, and his attention to detail to make sure the work was done and completed as planned. TriStone Development has an outstanding team. It was a great pleasure working on our large renovation project (the entire first floor of our house) with Jeremy and Lindsay and their team. Jeremy and Lindsay showed exceptional knowledge of construction, construction costs and had great design ideas when we had questions. When there was a delay, we were notified immediately.
The architect and contractors involved in our large renovation project were conscientious, knowledgeable and even cleaned up after themselves (which was really nice!!). The contractors came when they were supposed to and were always professional!
TriStone Development gave us a reasonable timeline for our large renovation project and we completed the project within 2 weeks of our original timeline.
We are extremely happy with our 1st floor renovation. We highly recommend Tristone Development to neighbors and family. We would call TriStone Development again without hesitation!
