After extensive research and meeting with multiple builders in the Chicago area, we decided to work with Michael and Stratum Builders for our home gut rehab in Lincoln Park. Throughout the whole process we were continually impressed with Michael's attention to detail, professional advice, and excellent communication. Not only has he proven to be the highest caliber of builder, but he also helped us redesign our floor plan to maximize space and functionality. He demonstrated impeccable taste along with keeping the whole project within budget and we never once felt like we were compromising quality for cost. We are overjoyed with the finished product! We asked for a house, Michael gave us a home. Thanks Stratum!

Stratum Builders was an excellent choice for our home renovation. The work was completed on time, within budget and of very high standard. The entire team that worked in our home was respectful, punctual and tidy. The benefit of stratum is that Micheal is able to offer aesthetic recommendations along the way as well as trouble shoot when things arise. The follow through is excellent. The willingness to complete a punch list and to finish add on items is a rare find. We would recommend Stratum as a great option for small or large projects.

“I am a repeat customer with Stratum Builders.”

I am a repeat customer with Stratum Builders. I worked on two commercial buildout projects ($200k-$1m). The only regrets I have had is when I did not choose them for a project. Their costs are competitive, although not always the least expensive. Michael is my first call when working on new projects. Michael completes every last detail to the highest standards and treats me like his most important client. I've had a few quality issues in the past and all issues have been addressed quickly, reasonably, and without hesitation. I know that if Stratum is doing the work it will get done right, on time, and on budget. I highly recommend Stratum. Please ask Michael for my reference and I would be happy to discuss more details of the work they've done for us (Flavius @ Ignite).
