Picking a contractor in of itself is a very nerve wracking experience. Like most homeowners we were 1) Price Conscious 2)Wanted Quality work 3) Wanted it to be done in a reasonable timeframe. We had an acceptable experience using contractors in the past but we were never 100% satisfied with the work. So when we decided to add a bathroom, we did not want to repeat mistakes of the past. We sat down with Greg and explained what we wanted to see if he could do it. Over that initial meeting we realized that Sage was capable of building anything and so the wheels began turning in our heads. Our bathroom addition turned into a gut renovation with that being said, here is a review or our experience. 1) Regarding Price - Sage was very reasonable in price. Especially if you take quality into account. With construction, a lower bid usually results in cutting corners somewhere. Sage does not cut corners and Greg takes pride in that. 2) Quality - I wanted to wait a few months to write this review after we had experienced living in the house and seeing what, if anything, was not done properly. I am ecstatic to report that we are finding things that were done better than what we expected. I have never experienced that before. The attention to detail was remarkable. 3) The timeline. Greg was very communicative and patient throughout the process. We kept adding things to the project but it was all done in a timeline that was very reasonable and acceptable to us. A construction project is a hassle. Going into this we had no idea the scope of the project we were signing up for. But Greg, and his team at Sage got us through it. He was easily accessible and always reachable. We have 2-3 more projects that we will 100% be using Sage for in the future.

“Sage took our outdated 90s kitchen and turned it into the kitchen of our dreams.”

Sage took our outdated 90s kitchen and turned it into the kitchen of our dreams. What once felt dark and disorganized now feels light and functional. The kitchen is the hive of the home and it’s a place we love to be. Greg and his team were the picture of professionalism. Everyone was kind, efficient, and clean. Each day the site was cleaned up and despite the kitchen being brought down to the studs, we didn’t feel we were living in a dirty construction zone. Greg made sure all of the details big and small came to life and seeing everything completed was better than we could have imagined. We will certainly be using Sage for all of our future projects. To go with any other company would be settling for less.

Greg and his team of experts did a fantastic job remodeling our downstairs bathroom. Greg kept us abreast of what was happening and when. Josh who installed our tile is a perfectionist! He consulted with me on how to best layout our tile offering his professional opinion which I greatly appreciated. Greg is very easy to work and his honesty is a quality not easy to find these days! A huge “Thank You!” to Greg and his team for our beautiful new bathroom!

In the fall of 2024 Sage Construction remodeled our unfinished basement. From start to finish the progress with Greg and the team at Sage was top notch. Greg made the estimate process turnkey and didn't pressure us into any decisions like other companies. This was our first major construction process and we're so glad we went with Sage. The crew is knowledgeable, friendly and has an amazing attention to detail. Something that doesn't come often with most contractors who sub-contract out most of the work! We were very pleased with all the materials. This is something Greg takes a lot of pride in to ensure your project will stand the test of time. There was never a time where we felt like they were cutting corners or cheating out on certain features/accents. We're so in love with our new space. We went from an unfinished dungeon of a basement to having a gym, kids area , entertainment space, space to lounge, a gorgeous bathroom and still left ample room for storage. Picking a contractor can be an overwhelming experience and we're so glad we went with Sage. Highly recommend for any and all home projects.

Call this what you want - a review, a shoutout, or praise. We hired Greg Sage of Sage Construction to put on a second floor addition and kitchen (which wasn’t planned). I want to say upfront that he and the guys that work with and for him are absolutely phenomenal. He was 100% honest and upfront with us, very responsive, excellent communication, went above and beyond expectations, and through and through at true professional. This wasn’t a project for the faint of heart. We did hit a few minor snags along that way that forced us to make some unplanned decisions but he was right there with us every step of the way. His employees and subs, the quality of the work, materials, and craftsmanship were top notch. We completely trusted him and his crew to handle every aspect of this project. The addition and kitchen turned out better than we had envisioned. Details of the addition - 750 square feet added that includes a master bedroom, master bath with shower and soaking tub, an office, and laundry room. Details on the kitchen - it was a living room, dining room, and kitchen. We knocked down the walls and made it a wide open kitchen & dining concept with oversized island and tons of added quartz counter space and high quality cabinets. We’ve already been thinking of future home improvement projects and will absolutely use him in the future. Here are some pics of the completed project.

Greg and his team were a pleasure to work with. We had them do a full renovation to our master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room. They also added a powder room and butler pantry. Their work was top quality, and everything came out even better than I imagined. There were some challenges working withing the existing space and they were able to come up with solutions for everything.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Greg and his team as we had a project to finish our basement and convert a loft into a bedroom. Everyone that worked on the project was professional, timely, extremely knowledgeable and patient as this was the largest project we've done and had a lot of questions! We had a tight timeline as we were trying to get this completed before our new baby arrived, and Greg created a timeline that worked for us and stuck to it through the whole process. We also needed some help deciding exactly how we wanted the basement to get laid out and Greg was patient and provided great insights and ideas as we finalized our plan. The results were incredible! We would absolutely work with Greg and his team in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone.
