We hired Proeh construction to help us both renovate and restore three bathrooms after a flood. Two bathrooms were already beautifully renovated and one bathroom needed a full remodel. You can only imagine how stressful this was--- three bathrooms on different floors were knocked out. All of our beautiful work needed to be dismantled and re-done. Jon and his crew took a bad situation and they made it all okay. Here's why: they treated our house as if it was their own. They painstakingly preserved cabinetry and hardware where warranted. The quality and workmanship was superior--and that is no easy feat since our house is 100 years old. Here are the highlights of working with Proeh: they're incredibly organized-- they will start your job on time, and once they start you can expect full crews on the job every day for a full day. No starting and disappearing like so many other contractors do. When the crew leaves at the end of the day, the work areas are spotless. The crew are true craftsmen who care about their work. I can't say enough wonderful things about Jack. Proeh is also used to working closely with interior designers. Our designer Amy Smole coordinated with Proeh and between the two, every detail of our job was managed beautifully. Were there hiccups? Of course there were. But when we ran into an issue, Jon immediately stepped up to resolve the issue to our complete satisfaction. Would we hire Proeh again if we had more work to complete? Absolutely!

We hired Proeh after being left stranded in the middle of multiple bathroom remodels. John and his team were honest in assessing the situation we were handed, and great to work with as they navigated the permit and inspection process, corrected work that had been done incorrectly or poorly, and ultimately completed our bathrooms on the schedule promised. Proeh was quick, communicative/transparent, responsive, and the quality of the work was outstanding. Before hiring Proeh, we had multiple contractors come out to assess and quote the work (including Proeh). Some did not follow up, some were blatantly obvious in trying to take advantage of the situation we were in when giving us their proposal, but John followed up, was frank in his assessment and reasonable in quoting the project and outlining the timing/process which gave us comfort in moving forward with him (also a plus that they’ve done much work in our neighborhood). We would highly recommend and will definitely reach out to John and team for our next project!

We used Proeh Construction to gut and rehab two full bathrooms. They were excellent to work with. Jon, the owner, was onsite multiple times per week checking on progress and our site leader, Marek, was as well. Their workers were extremely professional and easy to have in our home. They worked quickly and finished the job earlier than they had first projected! Their office manager, Rebecca, was extremely professional and answered any questions we had promptly. We are so happy with the results and would use Proeh Construction again without hesitation.

Proeh Construction remodeled our kitchen, constructed a direct vent gas fireplace in our living room, refinished the hardwood floors, and installed a built in on an entire wall. The quality of the craftsmanship was incredible. The workers put thought into each aspect of the project and provided design input along the way. In addition, the project was completed within the promised timeline which was a huge plus for a family with small children. It was very easy to communicate with the project team and we received regular updates. We highly recommend Proeh Construction.

We used Proeh Construction to renovate our master bathroom and were blown away by the results! Quality: My top priority for my bathroom renovation was quality. Taking a close look at their previous work, I could tell Proeh was committed to quality. And in the final result, everything was flawless. Every seam perfect, every measurement exact, every detail considered. Everyone who has viewed the bathroom always first comments on the quality. The owner, Jon, emphasized all the construction materials he provided being of the highest grade and I can confirm they were. Even down to the paint, Benjamin Moore Aura, nearly $100 a gallon. Pricing: I had 7 different companies review and bid my project. Jon provided an estimate that was amongst the most reasonable. In addition, we knew that a few surprises would pop up when we opened up the walls, but every additional add-on was super fairly priced. Professionalism: This cannot be understated. The moment Jon arrived on site to review the project, you could get a sense of the professionalism. Of any company, he made me feel the most confident in the project. He showed up to the job site regularly to check in and was always blazing fast to respond to a text or call. Going forward, I would always try to have Proeh complete any home renovation. I cannot say enough about Proeh construction. They remodeled a bathroom for us and were communicative, clear, honest and on time the whole time. They came into a mess in our bathroom after a leak so the project was not planned. They were honest about their availability, consistent, and clear. The work is beautiful. I truly could not be happier. On a personal note, I’ve worked with contractors in our home who have not taken my word as the plan or have deferred to my husband. Proeh never acted this way- they were perfect to work with. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
