He and his team work quickly and efficiently and worked with us on a design that suited our home. He does HVAC, electrical, plumbing, everything you might need. I have nothing but good things to say about O&L General Contractors. They are very professional, on time and willing to work with the client on contract agreements. They did a wonderful job on some masonry / tuckpointing work at my building relating to many city violations, he did the job and more. After he completed the tuckpointing and masonry work, that included rebuilding an outside brick wall, he also did a good job on painting one of my vacant apartments, which helped expedite the apartment to be rented to some new tenants. For Mr. Lainez of O&L General Contractors I give a five-star rating. They completed concurrently, a few major projects. Firstly, we were in need of a new side pathway/walkway because we were dealing with one that was cracked and crumbling. O&L General Contractors came through for us by laying new foundation from the front boarder completely to the alley. Even in the alley the garage apron was replaced. The photo shows a new landing installed by O&L General Contractors. The next project was Tuckpointing. To be sure, this task was completed within a week’s time. We are still negotiating color, but the craftsmanship is sound. This work remedied a mass of crumbling bricks on a structure over 100 years old. Photo attached. Lastly, new gutters and downspouts were installed. We now gave new gutters installed in a straight line that has covers to keep leaves out. Now, we will not need to hire gutter cleaning every year. Again the craftsmanship is solid. Please see photo. We are especially excited about the gutters & downspouts - this will be the first winter in years where huge icicle monsters won’t form and hang as heavy weights from the house. Wow, wow, wow. Oscar helped my Comedy Club establish a new kitchen and utility room to comply with liquor license and food license codes. This was an amazing experience with Oscar and his contractors. I had one of the worst experiences over the past 6 years in trying to find a general contractor just willing to do the work for me, let alone at the price, and legally. This last time around I went through 12. He was the 13th. I called and he was here within 2 hours. He wanted to be the first to offer a quote. He looked at the place and had his plumber and electrician to see it within days. He even connected me with an architect as I was not having a productive experience with the architect I was using. Together they worked seamlessly to complete the plans. He met a budget that others were trying to charge 3 times as much for. Everyone took care of the property like it was their own. Oscar also has a great eye for interior decorating, making suggestions that would cosmetically look better that one would not initially think of. He was preemptive in installing some items he knew I would need (and I did!). He was patient with me as I made my own adjustments and was adamant on doing everything legally and under the proper codes (This was a WELCOME feeling to many previous contractors I had that were suggesting dubious work arounds. One contractor, when approached by the city inspector regarding the permits he told me he had, literally got in his car, left his tools, and took off.). I immediately put him to work on my residential property to replace the roof and redo the walls. I highly recommend this crew.
