We moved into our home in November 2025 and were very pleased with both the final build and the overall experience. Kara, our designer, was extremely organized and diligent, and always offered helpful opinions. Our build went extremely smoothly thanks to Scott and Joe. It is evident that Icon selected very high quality subcontractors, and we are truly thrilled with both the appearance and the quality of our home. Finally, Icon was sensitive to our personal circumstances and was very supportive of us as new parents as we went through the process. Thanks to Charlie and the whole Icon team!

Can’t say enough what a positive experience we had working with Ryan Muehling & team on home remodeling projects. As our project manager, Ryan worked with us to understand our needs, goals, and budget and helped us bring our vision to life.
We’re incredibly pleased with the work quality - all of the subs Ryan chose were fantastic - and miraculously we were able to accomplish what we wanted while coming in under budget and staying on time. Ryan did a great job setting expectations and keeping us informed throughout construction.

Charlie, Joe and the entire team really take the time to get to know you, your family and your living style to really capture the vision you are looking to create in your new home. Their consultative approach is very genuine and holistic and for us, this was extremely important knowing all that goes into such a complex project. Of course, along the way you will have things come up or you will want to make changes to your plans and this is where the Icon team excelled at demonstrating patience and consulting in a way that would ensure all angles and options were considered. Icon served as a true partnership throughout this entire process and I would absolutely recommend them to design your next custom home!

We were going to do this, ourselves, it's not a massive project in our minds. However, having a project manager and going with a company who had all the contacts with the people doing the work made a huge difference for us. We weren't that easily able to find people, on our own, and I think it would have taken us a really, really long time to get this project from start to completion if we hadn't gone with Icon.
Our project manager kept us up-to-date, listening to us, didn't try to oversell us on fancier or more expensive items than we wanted in our budget. It was a great experience.
As you would expect, there are always a handful of items that need a little post-project care and Icon stuck with us through those. Even after our final payment, those little items we found are still getting their attention. So, we feel a lot of confidence recommending them.

After many, many years of watching HGTV and gathering ideas of what we would like in our dream home, we were finally in a position to purchase. We looked for a long time and found Deerpath Farm. The combination of the wooded nature conservancy and the close proximity to the highway as well as so many stores and restaurants just outside the quiet neighborhood sealed the deal. The ICON team - Charlie, Mark, Joe, Mike (and the trades people) - were all nice to work with. Builders Trend was a great way to stay informed about the house building process. It was exciting to see photos whenever a new step was completed. After closing, we appreciated the warranty period. Sandy has been very responsive to get the issues fixed that every new home is bound to have. All in all - the process went smoothly, and the house turned out BEAUTIFULLY. The neighborhood is so peaceful and gorgeous with all the trees. We love how each house has its own private space and the circular street means no loud through traffic. We are also delighted by all the wildlife that visits. We are very happy we landed here and get to spend the rest of our lives in a beautiful, functional home where we can age in place and enjoy the stunning natural surroundings.

We were extremely satisfied with our recent kitchen remodel done by Icon Building Group. Our Project Manager, Ryan, was great! We put off our remodel for several years because it seemed overwhelming and we heard too many horror stories about other contractors. From the first onsite meeting, Ryan put us at ease. He handled everything and kept us up to date throughout the entire process; starting with the design, all the way to the final walkthrough. Additionally, once the work started, Mike (contractor) was there everyday putting in hard labor. This man is unbelievable. The quality of work and attention to detail were superb. A testament to their character is our dogs loved them. Overall, our only regret is that we didn’t do this sooner. Ryan, Mike, and the team at Icon will be our first call for any of our future projects!

The initial effort done as part of a full renovation was substandard, with the original contractors caring more about getting the job done than getting it done right. Because of that experience, I was worried about finding someone I could trust until I met Ryan and Icon. They took the time to understand our goals, were transparent about the process, and provided feedback and an indication of plans without forcing us to commit to the full project. The end result exceeded our expectations in every category. Their team was patient, responsive to our ideas, creative in problem-solving some unique challenges, conscious of our budget, and always made us feel like our dream was their goal. We built a custom home with Icon and have been amazingly happy with the experience and the finished product. This is our second custom home and there was a night and day difference in our experience building these two homes. The whole team at Icon was a joy to work with. Special shout out to Sheryl Myrhe and Adrian Kochmanski. Sheryl was our Design Consultant and worked with us extensively and closely throughout the build process. She was incredibly patient with us and gave us invaluable guidance in designing our dream home. We are extremely impressed with both her design "eye" as well as her willingness to go the extra mile to get us the design elements we want at a price point we want. Adrian was our project manager during the construction phase and he was extremely pleasant to work with -- very diligent and thorough and always available by email/text/phone. He's definitely going to do well in his career at Icon. Joe Augello is the President of Icon and the few times we've worked with him have been awesome also. Building a home is stressful and things will happen that no one can anticipate -- Joe was always understanding and quick to offer a solution. The finished product is wonderful also and we are throughly enjoying our new home. Icon is a great company to work with and we easily give Icon two very enthusiastic thumbs up!
