5-STARS!!!! My wife and I just recently contracted Gigs Construction for a project that all started by asking him some simple questions about finishing the basement of our new-construction home in New Lenox. He came out the very next day and answered everything for us making the decision to trust him to design and construct our new basement that much easier. My wife and I were extremely impressed with the work his team completed each day at our home. They were very involved in delivering exactly what we wanted, and never took any shortcuts. From design, to materials, to uncovering things we would have never thought of if we were to do this ourselves, we could not be happier we decided to go with Gigs! Our basement has been truly transformed and reimagined into an amazing space for making memories with my family. You won’t find a crew more knowledgeable, and more professional than these guys.

The workmanship and determination of the carpenter (Billy), assigned to complete this task was phenomenal! Despite the scorching 🥵 weather he was determined to complete the task at hand. I needed help with the assembly and mounting of 3 large floating shelves and hanging of 2 smaller shelves. I needed this done professionally especially for the 3 large items as I wanted to make sure that they were sturdy. Giovanni was happy to help me out and sent some individuals over to help me with this project. They worked very hard on this project and I felt that there was care taken to ensure that my shelves were assembled well and did extra work to ensure that they were mounted better than the packaged directions / hardware that came with the products. Thank you Gigs Construction for taking the time and care on my project even though it is a smaller one than most jobs. Where most other companies would not take this job because it is a smaller one Giovanni did take the job and gave a fair price.

“Excellent, excellent, excellent.”

Excellent, excellent, excellent! I was reluctant at first because of the price, but Gigs was the only one who would remove the old fireplace and build a new one. Everyone else just wanted to "reface" the old one. Just refacing wasn't an option because the original fireplace was just too big and too 80's. My wife wanted it done, so I gave in and went with Gigs. And we're so glad we did! All of the trades involved (demolition, trash removal, framing, drywall, taping & mudding, and tiler) were so professional and polite. And needless to say (as you can see from the photos), we're pleased with the finished product! Even the TV delivery guys commented on how good it looked. From the get-go, Gigs assured me they could do it, and they delivered!

I recently completed a master bath remodel project with Gigs Construction, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, Giovanni was absolutely incredible to work with. His communication was top-notch—always timely, always responsive. I had a vision for my master bath, and Giovanni not only listened but truly brought it to life. I’d give him a rough idea, and he would take it and run with it in the best possible way. In addition to remodeling my bathroom, Gigs Construction also installed recessed lighting in the ceilings of both my living room and family room, which made a huge difference in the look and feel of the space. On top of that, Giovanni went above and beyond—he noticed that my garage door was in rough shape and consulted with me on it. With my approval, he found someone to come in and replace it while his team was working on the bathroom. It was an unexpected bonus and so appreciated. Everyone who came into my home—from the main crew to the electrician, plumber, and tile specialist—was professional, polite, hardworking, and highly skilled. You can tell they take real pride in what they do, and it shows in the quality of the finished work. This remodel exceeded my expectations, and I definitely plan to use Gigs Construction again for my next project. I highly recommend them.

We needed two bathrooms completely remodeled. Giovanni patiently listened to our ideas and then walked us through all the many options available. That caring and hands on approach continued throughout the entire project and was reflective for his entire staff. Everyone was a skilled professional and took great pride in their work. From demo to the finished product, they treated our home as if it was their own. The bathrooms are stunning and we couldn’t be happier! We had two small outdoor side jobs done also.
