I honestly can’t say enough good things about this company. I looked at a bunch of places around Chicagoland to redo my deck, and I’m so glad I found Porch Builders. I really wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my refinished roof, and they didn’t just give me options, they actually helped me think it through. No pressure, just honest guidance. I ended up going with Trex (lasts forever, basically no upkeep), and it looks beautiful, even covered in snow. We also did a cedar pergola and added a gate to hide the roof mechanics. Adam and I talked it out together, and it ended up turning out way better than I imagined. The team was incredible. Adam, Julia, Patrick, seriously everyone was so helpful through the whole process. And what meant a lot to me was that Adam came by multiple times just to check on things and make sure everything was going the way it should. Not a lot of people do that anymore. They’ve been in business a long time for a reason. They really do great work and they genuinely care. Highly recommend, and I truly mean that.

Porch Builders/Estes Builders replaced our old two-story back deck, which was rotting in places and unstable. The new deck -- with a main floor and a smaller deck off the second-floor master bedroom -- is great. It is solid and well built, with lots of concrete footings, which we did not have before. I appreciated their detailed plans. We used Trex flooring and pressure-treated wood supports etc. We were perhaps not the easiest homeowners to work with, but Patrick, Adam, and team worked well with us, and we appreciate it.

We had a complete 2 flat porch (outside staircase) demolished and built new. Porch Builders did an amazing job! There were no unexpected delays or expenses. Everything was completed in a timely manner with the utmost quality. The quality even surpassed my expectations and I am picky! I truly searched hard to find the best porch builders and am happy to say I was correct. This company is top tier and does wonderful work!

The Trex decking is expensive, but the work done was excellent, and the finished porch is beautiful. The demolition and cleanup crew (Jose and Brian) were fast, courteous, and did an excellent job, completing demolition in a single day. Their cleanup following the porch completion was equally quick and complete. The installers (Kevin and Wiktor—I was delighted when I discovered they were a father and son team) also did a spectacular job; the deck was completed in just two days. And, again, the results are great. Porch Builders/Estes Builders, Inc.,(Patrick) are exceptionally professional in their presentation and job performance. Thank you for an outstanding job. We reached out to Porch Builders for a pergola and to replace our old, damaged wood deck with Trex. Pricing was reasonable, and Adam and Patrick were so helpful to answer any questions before we even signed a contract. Adam even came in on a Saturday to accommodate our work schedules so we could see Trex samples. The install itself was quick and meticulous. We had 2 neighbors ask for Porch Builders' information because of how good the work was! Patrick and Adam have also been helpful with setting up an electrician to connect a light and outlet, and referring us to someone to stain the pergola. We have been on our deck every day since it's been completed- we're so happy with the work and so happy we chose Porch Builders!
