Last winter, after years of hemming and hawing, we decided to add a third floor to our 80-year-old house. It was a complex project with plenty of unknowns and moving parts...the stuff of home renovation nightmares. Having been burned in the past, we were wary. But we braced ourselves for the worst and signed on the dotted line with Crimson.
From start to finish, Glenn, Alex, and the team at Crimson did a phenomenal job. They communicated routinely so we always knew what was happening. The team was professional and respectful of our home, and every trade clearly took pride in the quality of their work. When the inevitable unexpected surprises arose, Crimson addressed them swiftly and fully. Even more impressive, the entire project was completed within budget (aside from a few extras we chose to add...it's a slippery slope folks).
Now that it’s finished, we couldn’t be happier with the result. The new third floor is seamlessly integrated into the style and structure of our home both inside and out, and it has become our favorite space to spend time in. Crimson exceeded our expectations, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering a renovation.

We're thrilled with the results of our new kitchen and bathroom. Glenn and designer Heidi helped our vision come to life, on time (almost to the day originally estimated!) and mostly on budget, save for the unavoidable challenges that come up when tearing down walls. Alex and the construction team were easy to work with, finding creative solutions to everything that came up. They really paid attention to the small details, and were very respectful of our space, as we lived in the home through the project. The whole team is so friendly too- Our kids already miss seeing their construction friends every day.
Would definitely recommend and consider using Crimson again in the future.

We had a great experience working with Crimson! Everyone on the team was friendly, responsive, and accommodating. We appreciated that they had the entire team in house - architect, designer, and project manager, so they could all easy communicate internally.
We absolutely love our results (new master suite, upstairs laundry, and new fireplace in the living room). We would 100% use Crimson again if we needed to do more work on our house!

Crimson completely updated our master bathroom. They removed all old cabinets, plumbing fixtures and whirlpool tub. Replaced everything adding a washer and dryer, new floor and wall tile, painted walls, changed lighting and misc. electrical. The job was completed on time and within budget.

We hired Crimson Design to complete a substantial renovation of our nearly 100 year old home including kitchen, master bathroom, living room, family room, sun room, and mud room. Glenn and his team (Alex, Keith, Heidi, and the subs) were great to work with. As with any construction project, there were unanticipated delays and work. The project came in nearly on budget and the delays were mostly due to additional work needed once the walls were opened up (structural issues). We would certainly hire Crimson Design again for any other work we would want to do and would recommend them to friends and neighbors.
