Julie was our designer, and from the very beginning, she truly listened to what we wanted while bringing fresh ideas and creative solutions to the table. She helped us think differently about the space and brought our vision to life in a way that feels both beautiful and functional.
Daniel, our project manager, was an excellent communicator--always responsive, organized, and ready with answers to any questions that came up. Everyone who came through our home, from the electricians and plumbers to the cabinetry and flooring teams, was professional, respectful, and careful to keep things neat each day, which made living through a renovation much easier.

I worked with Chi Renovation & Design to completely renovate my master bathroom from soup to nuts. As someone with not much experience in home projects or interior design, it was important for me to find a full scope service that wouldn't just handle the labor aspect of the project but also provide expert advice to make sure I was making the right choices for my space. Chi Renovation made the process very easy from start to finish by starting with a design consultation where Julie listened to my design ideas and pulled together a design board so we could see a 3D rendering of what the finished product would look like. From there, we made some changes to make the project fit inside my budget without losing much of the aesthetic I was going for and finalized the materials order. I then worked with the project manager, Ron, who handled the actual execution of the project from start to finish. Ron, with a little (but not much) pushing from my end, let us know what was going to happen every step of the way and was very responsive. We incurred some damage to my downstairs neighbors' bathroom ceiling during the initial demolition and Ron made sure to have the team take care of the repairs no questions asked which really alleviated a lot of the stress that comes with having a remodel done in a multi-unit building and having to keep the neighbors happy. The team also did a final detailed inspection once the project was finished just to ensure that any elements that were out of place or needed touch ups were identified. I am overall extremely happy with the finished project and would recommend this company to anyone who not only is wanting to do a flip for potential resale but others who really want to impart their own taste and sense of style into their home.

We used Chi Renovation & Design to upgrade our bathroom. The whole process went very smoothly, and the final result is absolutely stunning.
Julie, their head of design, worked with her team to turn our very vague and sometimes contradictory ideas into a gorgeous design. They chose modern, beautiful, high quality materials that will easily endure for the rest of our life in this home.
Ron, Chi Renovation’s operations manager, was highly responsive to our needs during construction. He made sure we knew what to expect, listened to our feedback, and immediately addressed any concerns we brought up.
The quality of work is second to none. At every stage, Chi Renovation’s talented staff showed high levels of professionalism and attention to detail. The construction crews were all experienced craftsmen who each did a phenomenal job in their area. I want to particularly shout out Derek, who installed literally hundreds of very small individual tiles in our shower with exacting precision. The finished effect is better than anything we could have hoped for.
The main focus of this project was the shower, which urgently needed to be demolished and rebuilt to correct a water leak. The team at Chi Renovation & Design took that initial vision and added a custom vanity, modern new medicine cabinet, custom stone shelves and countertop, as well as top-tier lighting design to completely transform the space.
We will absolutely be calling Chi Renovation & Design again for any future renovations, and 100% recommend them.

We used Chi Renovation & Design for our basement remodel (after a pretty bad flood), and am thrilled with how things came out. After we worked through the design aspects, it was time to get started on the build. When it comes down to it, the most important piece from my experience is working with a general contractor that cares, takes ownership of the project, and is fast to rectify issues that inevitably arise when renovating. I can safely say that Ron, who was the GC that managed our project embodied all of those qualities. I never had to prove to Ron why we may have needed something changed, fixed, or reworked; not only was he often already aware of it, he always took responsibility and got it done. He was always fair. Beyond that ownership, the subcontractors that work with Chi Reno & Design were excellent, especially the drywall and painter folks. Honestly, by far the best paint work that has been done on our house. To that end, the value of the work done was well worth the (reasonable) price.
I am thrilled with how it came out, and my kids love playing down there everyday!

This was our second remodeling project with Chi renovation and design. Previously we had kitchen renovation. This project was remodeling of the master bathroom and a hallway guest bathroom. We worked with a design specialist, Anna, who was outstanding. She really was able to capture our Intentions for the remodeling and provided us with great design ideas. Our project manager was Ron. He was outstanding! He was very responsive and timely. His communication was excellent. As often happens in any remodeling project, they’re always minor glitches and he was so good about addressing them . We live in the high-rise apartment building, which requires special consideration for people who live on the floors are above and below is, and also the requirement for the cleanliness of the project. The crew did really well with that and our building manager was very pleased with the crew’s work ethic. Again, big thanks to the Chi Renovation and Design for this project. I can’t think them enough!

Had a great experience working with Chi Renovation. I wanted to remodel my kitchen but wanted to go really modern and do something different. After years of having a white kitchen, I wanted a black kitchen with wood tones. We struggled to find a contractor that would listen to our ideas or a contractor that provided great design ideas when we couldn't articulate what we wanted. Ana was great at designing our kitchen and maximizing the layout. Our project manager Gene was very detailed oriented and was present throughout the project. If I had questions or concerns he made sure to address all of them so that I could be happy with the kitchen. Gene and his team made sure to put so much attention to detail to things I didn't even think about like matching the outlets to all the different colors that we had through the kitchen. The amount of storage that we have now because of the cabinet and drawer options they provided is crazy. All the cabinets are aligned correctly, all the outlets are up to code and they managed to get us an island that was larger than the one we had previously. If you are looking to renovate your kitchen and want superior service, please go to Chi Renovation. I can cannot express how satisfied I am with my kitchen, especially when I compare it to the previous kitchen that was in my home. It was the basic white flip kitchen that had drawers that didn't align properly and had little to no storage.

We worked with Ariana on design and Gene as our project manager to redo our master bath. Every step of the process was great! We were impressed with the design, and especially impressed with the ease of communications with Gene. It took longer than expected because of supply chain issues, but Chi Renovation kept us updated and worked with our schedule. It resulted in a beautiful bathroom that completely fits everything we were looking for. I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

The team fully remodeled my primary and guest bathrooms and completed some other lighting, fireplace, and flooring work in the main living area of my condo. High degree of professionalism from start to finish with everyone I worked with - in particular Ariana on design and Gene leading the construction. Thanks to the design work my spaces not only look much better but are more functional as well. The only challenge was the long lead time on materials which caused a long wait between design and construction phases but that was outside of the team’s control and was ultimately worth the wait. I’d definitely recommend.

After living in our Uptown condo for 5 years, and being forced to stare at the same construction grade finishes in our bathrooms during this pandemic, my husband and I decided we needed an upgrade. We did extensive research and after several quotes from a variety of firms, Chi was the winner. Julie and Gene were dreams to work with. All we knew going into it was that we wanted a spa like but masculine bathroom, but the designs Julie created for us were beyond anything we had ever imagined. This was one of the main reasons we went with an all-in-one firm. While our design aesthetic is good, we really wanted something that made visitors know that a professional was involved. Julie and Gene listened to all of our requests, helped us trim costs where possible, and also helped us push ourselves out of our comfort zone. The results were better than we could ever have hoped. Not to mention the quality of the work, Marek's attention to detail was spectacular. Ever finish was perfectly placed down to the smallest tile and run of trim. Can't wait to work with Chi Reno for our next project!
