They showed me how we could use natural light, air flow, and even plants to make a happier workspace. The workers feel less drained. The space feels alive. I didn’t think “green” design was possible in a factory, but they made it happen—and kept it within budget.

Chester stopped by yesterday for a site visit to discuss the floor plans for a bungalow home in Berwyn. He was very professional with his punctuality. My husband and I were impressed with his 30 plus years of experience in his profession. What mostly impressed us is how familiar he is with the architecture of the Berwyn bungalow brick homes. He understands the structure of these homes very well and what lies underneath them given our home is 100 years old. He knew the size of the beams that run across our home, what’s underneath the walls and much more knowledgeable than I expected. We had a friendly experience with Chester as well and it’s always good to have a warm character given this is an architect that will work with the home owners a lot during a difficult and stressful process of renovating a home. We discussed with him that we will be doing a complete rehab of our house on the first floor and we would also like to add a second floor and open up the roof instead of a slanted roof. We also mentioned we will need all new electrical, heating and plumbing etc… I asked him if this can be done and he said, “Of course it can be done. Anything can be done” his confident attitude is what drew us to want to work with him with this huge project. I’ve heard horrible stories of home owners having a bad experience with their general contractors and we decided to go a different route and start with an architect to make things as smooth as possible.
