From the moment Mike Wawiorko arrived for the estimate -- very professional, took his time explaining the work that needed to be done, and walking around the property to point out things that needed to be corrected to the team that worked on our home -- wow. We even had two neighbors who work in building trades who commented on the quality of the work they were doing. Now that the job is complete, neighbors stop and comment on how great the roof looks and have said when they need a new roof, they'll be calling Smart Roofers because of the quality work they saw performed.

My roof project was completed last week by Smart Roofing & Project manager Pete, and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I obtained 4 estimates and the price was very similar in each case. It was an easy decision to choose Pete’s detailed proposal, his recommendations, and the ease to text or call him with questions. His crew of four roofers, & four gutter/downspout guys did a great job, they were very respectful and hard workers. I am very happy with the outcome, it looks great. And I love my skylight featuring a remote controlled shade!

In April 2025 we had our house roof, garage roof and gutters replaced by Smart Roofing. They did a great job!! Their representative, Pete K., was very prompt in his communication with us. He's a very pleasant guy! Pete always kept us apprised of their timeline, always answered our calls and texts within minutes, and was totally knowledgeable of the all facets of the scope of our work. Their bid was competitive, Their workers were professional, hard working, careful, and neat. And bottom line is the roof and gutters look great! We used Smart Roof 25 years ago and then again, this year 2025. The service we received from Pete was professional. patient. Not pushy at all. Follow up is amazing with Pete. The men who put our new roof on worked very hard and were respectful and perfectionist. We had gutters replaced for the first time since house was built in 1928. I am so pleased with the work Smart Roof does and recommend them highly. Professional. great communication and fabulous workmanship.

Smart Roofing just finished installing a new roof and gutters on our home in the edgebrook area of Chicago. Pete and his crew were amazing to work with. I started talking with Pete a year before we did the roof and he was always responsive and attentive to our needs and concerns. It was not a straightforward job as we had some issues we needed to address. Pete was nothing but patient while answering all the questions and concerns we had. His crew works hard and took great care of our property while they were here.
