When I came home from work yesterday, the power to my entire house was out. Temperatures were in the single digits, and I had no heat. I contacted several other companies, but they told me the wait would be hours. Darren answered right away and said he would get there as quickly as possible—and he arrived within 30 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in no time. He also pointed out a few minor issues that he could have easily repaired himself, but instead took the time to educate me on how to handle them at little to no cost. I would highly recommend this company. The owner was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful, and I will absolutely be using them again in the future.

Dylan was fantastic not only helped with electrical wiring of fuse box but was able to correct a long-standing issue with overhead lights. Dylan had updated me his ETA and had a clear line of communication at all times. Wonderful hospitality and customer service from this group! Would highly recommend their services to anyone!

One of the nicest guys. The owner answered the phone after just returning from his honeymoon and was very excited to help out a customer. I called him panicked as I just took all the power out by mistake in my condo while my wife was working from home. He immediately FaceTimed me and walked me through the building to flip the right breakers and get power restored FREE OF CHARGE. Classic Chicago experience with a stand up guy, don’t go elsewhere. Highly recommend.

Dylan and Timothy were able to get us in within a few days, and did a fantastic job. They explained clearly what needed to be done, and why. And were kind enough to show us a few areas in our older homes dry wall that we should watch out during our upcoming construction project. They were great about communicating during each step of the project, even though it only took a few hours. We did come out over the initial quote, but this was because the previous area was not up to code, something that could not be predicted. I am grateful that Timothy and Dylan were able to identify that, explained it well, and made sure perform a high quality installation that keeps our home safe. Thank you! We will absolutely use them and recommend them in the future.

I recently had the most wonderful experience working with Sims & Sons for an electrical project in my Ukrainian Village condo. Darrell (owner) and his amazing team of Timothy and Dylan made a complicated project so easy for us and we are thrilled with the results. They replaced old track lighting in our kitchen with modern pendant lights. The entire team was communicative, punctual, professional and so kind throughout the process. Timothy and Dylan even went above and beyond to do extra caulking so the pendants would look perfect. I highly recommend Sims & Sons, and look forward to working with them again!
