Noel and his team are the best! I can’t say enough great things about them. We needed to have our roof replaced after some hail damage (as water was leaking into our bathroom.) Noel came out promptly, gave us a written estimate & helped guide us on how to work with our insurance company. He and his team did a beautiful job on the roof, replaced the damaged drywall (green board) on our bathroom ceiling and repainted. They meticulously cleaned up while the project was ongoing and always left things nice. We also hired them to put in a chimney liner and re-tuck point the top part of the chimney where the mortar was crumbling. They did a wonderful job on that too! Thank you again Noel to you and your team! We’ll definitely be in touch for the next project.

Noel and his team are excellent. Noel spent the time over the phone on the initial call explaining a lot regarding the roof and damage. They came out and thoroughly diagnosed where our damage was coming from and gave us an accurate quote with a couple different options. Our previous roofers had come out multiple times and claimed a nail had popped. This was not the issue. Silva’s inspection also led them to find that we didn’t have a cap on or liner in our chimney so our bedroom wall was taking on moisture. They were extremely respectful of the cleanliness of the inside of our home (we have little children and didn’t want dust all over) and cleaned up every single time they did work. Their work was efficient, accurate, clean and effective. No more leaky roof and the chimney is lined and capped (oh, and tuck pointed). Highly recommend if you want work to be done correctly. “I felt pretty hopeless when trying to find someone that would fix a small portion of my roof all...”

I felt pretty hopeless when trying to find someone that would fix a small portion of my roof all summer and into the fall. On three different occasions, I called and set up a time for an estimate with no-shows. What I realized is that companies are truly not that interested and just repair but full roof replacement, I desperately posted in my towns, Facebook page looking for some support and Noel reached out. With honesty and recommendation and reference right on Facebook Noel came out did a quick estimate and took the job. Not the biggest work to be done in town but such a huge need for me and repairing a part of my roof and the interior of my bathroom. I am so thankful and will certainly recommend Silva for any work. Anyone needs to get done. I will also be reaching out soon for Future needs at my home.

My restaurant's basement got flooded at the time when multiple businesses up and down the block got flooded too, due to massive storm and rain in October of 2022. Despite being super busy with multiple emergency calls, Mr. Silva somehow found employees who came the same day (!!) and worked in the basement long hours into the night! Mr. Silva quoted me a decent price, given the circumstances, and his crew did a phenomenal job. They cleaned and dried the entire basement. They came back the following day to finalize a few things and make sure the floor and all walls were dry, and my restaurant's employees can safely come to work. After completion of the job Mr. Silva realized that the total damage and therefore required amount of work turned out to be less than he originally quoted, and he lowered the final invoiced amount!! This kind of honesty and fairness can hardly be seen these days. The job was done professionally and perfectly. Thank you Mr. Silva, we would 100% call you again if we had a need for your excellent services.

I hired N. Silva Contracting and Restoration of Chicago for a difficult roof repair. Noel came out to do an estimate and brought a ladder and went up 2 stories to take pictures. I had called 11 other roofers before finding Noel. Several never showed up or called and not one brought a ladder to do an estimate. I found Noel to be a serious, skilled craftsman, trustworthy and fair. Noel advised me how to deal with the insurance company and came over twice when the adjustor came and I really appreciated his support and guidance. He explained exactly what was wrong and what needed to be done. Noel removed the old flashing that was installed incorrectly and added an asphalt cap sheet of torch down material. He was able to remove and replace all our old rooftop flashing and perform stability repairs behind our dated cornice to prevent water leakage.
