We had decided to do a kitchen remodel but weren’t sure where to begin. We explored different design groups but couldn’t seem to settle on a direction. We knew Paula was doing design consulting and we had known her since we bought our house from Paula and Mike. We called and set an appointment. Paula arrived with an arm full of design ideas. Over the next 2 hours we covered a number of possibilities. After considerable discussions we finally agreed on a design Paula had pointed us to. The end result is a kitchen my wife loves. Paula also suggested painters and a cabinet design company. All that’s left is the backsplash. We couldn’t be more pleased with all that Paula did for us. We will enjoy our finished kitchen for years to come. Thank you Paula for all you did. You’re awesome!!

I appreciated that she quoted one price for the job, and that is exactly what she charged me. No extra hours, no extra fees. I’m very much DIY when it comes to home decorating, but I did know enough to get a professional opinion on updating my kitchen. I intended to paint the upper cabinets, and I expected Paula to affirm my decision to paint the cabinets and to help me choose a color. After spending time in my kitchen and adjacent rooms, Paula had a different idea! She diplomatically explained that I would be more satisfied with new countertops (quartz to replace black granite) and lighting. She showed me samples, and I could easily see that she was right. Paula gave me a list of contractors and I did the scheduling. Paula provided the details of materials and fixtures to the contractors. My kitchen refresh project is now complete, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Paula was readily available for questions along the way. Paula’s fee was money well-spent! She kept me from making a big mistake, and I’m even happier with the result than I would have been if I had muddled along on my own!

Engaged Paula Ryan Designs to lead residential remodel on 20 year old home located in Tara Hills subdivision. Scope of remodel included flooring (tile demolition and hardwood + tile installation), counter top replacement (formica to quartz), cabinet refresh, crown molding throughout entire home, lighting replacement throughout entire home, painting, and built-in cabinetry added in master bedroom closet. Paula's extensive experience was critical in expediting material choices and budget decisions. Additionally, her long established relationships with vendors and subcontractors made for transparent scheduling of work with little to no demand on us (homeowners). Overall we highly recommend Paula Ryan Designs to anyone considering consulting/design/remodeling services. It should be noted - we did experience quality control issues with vendor/subcontractor US Granite and Marble. Paula managed related issues to a satisfactory outcome, but we cannot recommend their services going forward. All other vendors/subcontractors were exception in quality and delivery of product/services.

Paula and her team helped me with the design and full project management of a remodel of our house on Lake Springfield. Our house was constructed in 2003. I was looking for updates to the entire main floor - kitchen, living area, 3 bedrooms and the guest bath. We wanted to make changes so the house would have more of a “lake feel” and an even better fit for our family and guests. Paula listened to my preferences, shared mood boards then went to work narrowing down selections to make it easier for me to choose hardware, lighting, flooring etc. Paula is easy to work with, maintaining close communication and responding quickly. We had an aggressive schedule for the renovation. Paula detailed the project plan and costs for us, worked with her team throughout the renovation to make up time on amy unexpected set-backs and finishing on time. This was no small feat considering the scope of our remodel. The end result was beautiful! We love so many of the small touches (like the hardware and lighting) as well as the beautiful hard wood floors and new garage floor. The contractors that work with Paula are professional and experienced as well as extremely responsive and respectful. After the walk through Paula and her team ticked off the list of our requests quickly. She stands by her work. I would highly recommend her for your remodel needs!

Five stars for Paula and her team! She made the redesign of our kitchen so easy! She gave us the guidance we needed throughout the process, has excellent taste and listened when we told her what we were looking for. She was easy to communicate with and kept the project moving along so we finished on schedule. One of my favorite parts of the remodel is a light fixture that I never would have picked out for myself in a million years. Paula steered us in that direction and it really made the room come together. She really has a great eye! Would definitely recommend her to friends/family.

Paula Ryan Design and her team gave our kitchen a much-needed facelift (painted our 30+ year old oak cabinets, installed new granite countertops, new sink and faucet) and basically gutted and redid our primary bath. Paula was great to work with! She is so personable, knowledgeable, and talented, and she really listened to what I wanted. I had limited time to pick out tile and granite. When I met her at the two stores, she had already narrowed down choices and showed me items within our budget, which helped immensely. The tradesmen who did the work were all so pleasant, quick, and thorough - even my big dogs liked them! There was very little mess and dust during the project, much less than I had anticipated, as they cleaned up regularly. The bathroom is now a beautiful, relaxing space and the kitchen is so much brighter and happier! Everyone who has seen it comments on how much bigger it looks and what a good job the workers did. I highly recommend Paula Ryan Design and her team (Brett, Larry, Joey, and Camryn) for remodeling. We will be using them again for our next projects.
