Big shout out of thanks to Justin and Amanda at JC Licht in Hinsdale, Illinois. I had been trying without success to order peel and stick paint samples from Benjamin Moore – I kept getting a message that something was wrong with the server. I went to the store and they were able to help me place a direct order with the sample manufacturer, Samplize. I really appreciate how they went out of their way to solve this issue for me and get samples on their way in a timely fashion. Thank you, thank you, thank you, great customer service.

I recently purchased wallpaper at Hinsdale store, kath helped me select the wallpaper. She guided me and pointed out beautiful designs that I never would of looked at. I showed her pictures of my powder room and she showed me a thibaut pattern that I just am crazy about. She is a delight and has impeccable taste. The paper is elegant and fun and she was able to do this by a picture. This is a lovely person and such a delight,!

JC Licht in Hinsdale was everything I hoped for in a high end paint store and then some. I had read about Fine Paints of Europe years ago and always wanted to try them out in my house. The nearest retailer is 70 miles away. I am really glad I finally made the trip. The managers helpful advice and the quality of product is second to none. I used 4003 "Delft Blue" from the Classic European Collection and it turned out great.

If you are looking for a suburban paint store, look no further than JC Licht in Hinsdale. After raising my children these last 15-20 years, my home was in definite need of being refreshed, from top to bottom, with a new paint job. I have been working with the amazing folks at JC Licht through out this whole process in order to ensure that I get the correct paint I need, not only the quantity of paint, but also in the right sheen or color. The patience of the folks that work at JC Licht to ensure that I am completely satisfied is beyond impressive. As a mom and wife who is trying to juggle all the various rooms being painted correctly and on time, when my painter has time to visit my home, JC Licht has been an integral part of ensuring that my job is getting done not only right, but exceeding my expectations. Today, in particular, I spoke with Justin and Megan, and they were nothing short of awesome! Thank you to everyone who works at my friendly, neighborhood paint store.

What a great experience I had at the Hinsdale JC Licht store. I stopped in to look at window treatment displays & was so fortunate to be welcomed & helped by Wendy. Not only did she direct me to the proper displays, she answered ALL of my questions, took time to listen to the details of my project, showed me various fabrics, options, & manufacturers. She is SO knowledgeable & has a great design eye for color & style. I also asked for help in color selection for my front door & railing, as we are redoing our exterior. She found the perfect blue color for our door & recommended a railing color as well. Wendy is so personable & very customer focused. Look forward to working with her in the future and shopping at this store. Wendy is an excellent asset to the Hinsdale store & any customer's product & design needs.

It was my first visit to your store this past week. Justin helped me re-work a paint color I was trying to achieve and it worked perfectly! He also sorted out a last minute problem with the wrong color paint that was delivered to my painter. He was completely knowledgeable, helpful and sweet to help me bring all the paint to my car. I know this review goes beyond paint, but just have to mention the wonderful employees. Wendy especially was so kind and helpful. I went in to pick out a couple paint samples and within 5 mins of looking my newborn started to cry. Wendy offered to pull several samples and gave her perspective on colors while I calmed my son. What would have been a trip cut short ended up being a success just because of her kindness and willingness to go the extra mile to help me.

“The manager Nick Salines is an excellent color matcher.”

The manager Nick Salines is an excellent color matcher. I gave him a piece of stained wood that was 15 years old and managed to match the color perfectly. He took his time and did a great job with professionalism. I highly recommend going to him on any color matching or knowledge about what products to use in your house. I will be back again and again!
