When my husband and I bought our home, we saw wear and tear on Day 1 but couldn’t justify investing in a fix because of the seemingly inevitable damage our young children might wreak. As time passed, the wear and tear increased, and we started noticing inefficient uses of space. We loved our home. We just weren’t proud of it anymore to the point we questioned whether to move. Fortunately, my husband and I also considered redesign too. We knew from experience that we did not want to DIY. And whenever we utilized the services of free in-store designers, we regretted our decisions a few years later. So we interviewed several “legit” designers referred by friends. We had your typical concerns (’how will they style if we don't know what we want? will they only show us expensive options? how do we set a budget and stay within it? how disruptive will this be to our family’s day-to-day?’). We were initially attracted to OI because we loved their aesthetic relative to the other designers. We hired them, however, because of their incredible attention to detail not only with design but also with project management. They did not disappoint! Laura and Megan led the charge and helped us completely reimagine the first floor of our home—and made the whole process feel surprisingly stress-free! The design updates brought so much function and style to our space. We especially love the built-ins around the fireplace, the kitchen redesign, and all the smart storage solutions throughout. Every inch feels intentional now, and even the smallest spaces—like our powder room—make a big impact. They handled every detail, even coordinating the construction timeline to align with our kids’ school break, which made a huge difference for our family. Their detailed weekly updates and responsiveness assured us that they had their fingers on the pulse of every aspect of our project, which was a huge relief. I am very business-minded but lack the creative vision to redesign my home. It is rare to find creatives at heart that pour equal attention into the business side. The OI team is the complete package from design to construction, procurement to delivery...budgets, lead times, communication, punch lists, you name it. They held our hands every step of the way with the utmost professionalism. Every day we still marvel at the beauty that is our home. She Nailed Our Vibe! If you’re looking for a designer who doesn’t just decorate — but truly translates your personality and lifestyle into a space -- look no further. It’s Laura Tribbett and her team at Outline Interiors. We had a clear vision: modern, clean lines, bold details, and luxurious textures. Laura took that vision, sprinkled in her signature magic, and delivered a home that’s both striking and deeply personal. As a marketer, I even put together a creative brief (yep, like the one you’d give a creative agency) to give the team insight into how we live our lives. They took it in and used it as a foundation to design a space that feels not just beautiful, but intentional. From the sleek kitchen -- think flawless sleek cabinetry and jaw-dropping fixtures -- to a dry bar nook that could be in a boutique hotel (those glass shelves, the custom arch, the tile… chef’s kiss), every detail feels curated and elevated. The bathrooms? Total showstoppers. One evokes a spa-level sense of calm, complete with a luxe walk-in shower and brushed brass accents (yes, even brass tiles). And the powder room? My absolute favorite. The wallpaper alone deserves its own Instagram -- vibrant, swirling, and daring -- perfectly balanced by deep teal walls and glowing brass hardware. It’s moody, memorable, and makes a statement without saying a word. Best part? Laura and her team made the process fun. Laura paired us up with Geremy Whalen, a designer on her team. She was collaborative, responsive, and never once asked us to choose between style and comfort. A true creative problem solver, Geremy even helped us to “value engineer” when our Dom Perignon tastes didn’t always match with our Veuve Clicquot budgets! We love our new home. It’s fresh -- with pops of personality -- and most importantly, it’s unmistakably us.

Five years ago I purchased my first home. As the keys were handed to me, the accompanying excitement and euphoria of this big step were immediately replaced with the reality of the blank slate I would be moving into. I would need help making my home my own. Enter: Outline Interiors entire team, led by the exceptionally talented and gifted Laura Tribbett. I spent a few weeks researching design teams, digging through portfolios and personal profiles. In the end Outline Interiors truly felt like the best fit for my lifestyle and aesthetic. I arranged to meet with Laura and her team members within the week, and the rest can only be described as a dream. From the start, Laura and her team ensured a truly excellent and comfortable experience. During our very first meeting, the team listened intently as I described my thoughts and preferences, asking thoughtful questions along the way to create a productive, open environment. From there, communication was uncomplicated, warm and effective, making me feel secure and cared for as a client. Presentations were not only thorough, complete with renderings and multiple tangible samples of fabrics and wall coverings, but also very much working meetings, during which my feedback was accepted with enthusiasm and genuine interest. Immediate follow-up via email incorporated the new ideas with organized and easy-to-understand visuals for my approval. The team awaited approval at each step before executing any plan. Decision-making sits primarily with the client. With that said, Outline Interiors clearly inherently value transparency, which went a long way with me as a first-time design client to feel involved and in control of my project. Statements are clear, and all charges and fees are discussed up front before project engagement begins. Any questions along the way receive prompt responses. Laura and her team certainly understand quality and beauty, as all sourcing brings a delightful, luxe touch to every element, from furnishings to accessories and everything in between.
