After being told by a big plumbing company that I had a slab leak and would need to repipe my whole house, I wanted to get another opinion before moving forward with such an expensive job. I called a local plumbing company in Chicago and spoke with Terrence. It was great to actually reach one of the main plumbers directly. Terrence explained that the first step should really be to find the exact location of the leak, which the first company never did for me, even though I paid for it. He suggested I contact a leak detection service he’s had good experiences with in the past, just to be sure about where the issue was. Terrence made it clear he was focused on helping me, not just making a sale. He didn’t push for a house call or try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I can’t say enough good things about Terrence and the team who worked on my sewer line. If I ever run into plumbing or drain problems in the future, this is definitely the only company I would call in Chicago. Our water heater started leaking on a Sunday, so we reached out to Luke's Rapid Plumbing, hoping for a quick fix. To our surprise, they called us back right away and sent Ezra over within two hours—even though it was the weekend! Ezra checked the water heater, confirmed the tank had failed, and took down all the details needed for a warranty replacement. He also explained how to run the unit manually so we could have some hot water for a bit, but made sure we knew how to safely shut it off to prevent any more leaking. The next morning, Brian arrived to swap out the water heater with a new one under warranty. The installation was done quickly and at a fair price.
