Brandon from the electrician team in Chicago was fantastic! He arrived right on schedule and even called ahead to let me know when he’d get here. Brandon was polite, very professional, and got the job done efficiently. He replaced a circuit in my electrical panel, sealed up the wiring that comes in from outside, and installed a new light fixture for me. Brandon explained every step before, during, and after the work, making sure I understood what was going on and answering all my questions. He also pointed out a few things that could use attention and gave helpful suggestions for electrical safety upgrades. The person who helped me set up the appointment was also friendly and professional. Before Brandon arrived, the company sent over his name, photo, and a little background about his electrical experience, which made me feel comfortable. I called early one morning because we had some sudden electrical problems overnight at our place in Chicago. Even though it was before business hours, Brandon answered the phone and managed to fit me in later that day since I was close to his previous job. He showed up right on time, quickly diagnosed that there was a surge coming from the utility company’s side, which had damaged the wiring ('legs') leading from the main box to my electrical panel. Brandon explained everything clearly and recommended I contact emergency services with the utility company to confirm the problem was on their end. After I called, the utility confirmed it and set up temporary power until they could make the permanent fix. Throughout the whole process, Brandon was polite, professional, and really knew his stuff. He also let me know that my electrical panel was installed without the proper permit before I moved in and gave me some advice on what to fix in the future. I felt confident having a knowledgeable electrician walk me through everything and handle the repairs. Because of this positive experience, I’ll definitely call Jordan & Sons Electricians for any electrical work I need in the future.
