After a hail storm left my roof damaged, I started to look at metal roofing as a stronger solution than the traditional shingle. I came across Interlock Metal Roofing and gave them a call.
Our home is an older Cape Cod style and has little attic venting, which has caused us cooling problems over the years, so I was also hoping that this could be solved with metal.
John from Interlock came and gave our roof an inspection, pointed out areas that had damage, and explained how they could add a raised deck such that it would allow the roof to be vented much more efficiently.
We looked at the products available, and chose a shingle look metal roof.
When the installation began about 8 weeks later, Jesse and his crew arrived. This team were great to work with. They put protection up for our windows, as well ad made sure everything was cleaned up at the end of each day.
This installation took about a week and we love the result. The upstairs is now cooler on hot days. There is no sound from rain on the food (some had warned us us it would be loud, but we can't hear anything), and we've had a number of compliments from passers by.
A great product, and a great team from initial contact through to completion.

Very heavy investment, but worth every cent! I worked with John and he was very mindful in planning everything out- especially the finer details of what was needed for the house and for the project. His crew was spectacular in their workmanship and friendliness. The only minor issue I had was the scheduling of the project- which is of nobody's fault. I’ve been selling Interlock roofs in the Chicagoland and Southern Wisconsin area for about 10 years now. I’ve been a proud owner of an Interlock Roof for the last 3. My wife and I love it. I really do wish I had done it sooner, since the cost was so much lower in the past (as is pretty much everything)! I’ve put some beautiful roofs on some beautiful homes, but I feel like mine is the absolute best one! Not because it actually is… all Interlock Roofs are beautiful; but because it’s on my own house. It feels different when I drive up to my house everyday and everyday I realize that I have the nicest looking roof on the block. It’s a constant reminder that it was a good decision. It wasn’t fun paying for it at the time; but now that I have I wouldn’t change a thing. For anyone else that is considering one of our roofs for your home, feel free to reach out to me directly! We are so proud of our new roof. It is so cool looking, it adds a great deal to the curb-appeal of our house. I also appreciate the security of knowing I'll never have to replace it or worry about it in even the strongest winds. I used to lose shingles in strong windstorms. Interlock was easy to work with. John was knowledgeable, providing great insight into the process, and very pleasant to work with in choosing the best Interlock product and color for our home. Jesse and his team of installers are true craftsmen in installing the Interlock shingles and trim pieces. The team skillfully crafted and installed the Interlock shingles on 7 dormers and two valleys with several different roof lines. The install team cleaned up at the end of each day and were meticulous in searching through landscaping, ensuring no debris was left behind. We’ve received countless people stopping by to tell us how much they love our new Interlock roof. We love it too!

We love the look of it, and are so impressed with how beautifully finished it is integrated into the flashing materials.
