Working with Ben was great. He treated us like family. His depth of knowledge and aesthetic sensibility impressed us. The insurance company initially was not a good neighbor, and he supported us until we were able to get our roof replacement approved. With the extremes in weather we are experiencing, we wanted our new roof to be hail and wind resistant. The choice that stood out for hail resistance is a sbs rubberized shingle. Ben also happened to be the only roofer we spoke with who had years of experience with this type of shingle. The roof was installed using six nails per shingle which provides a wind resistance of 130 mph. The new roof also qualified for an 18% reduction in our insurance premium. The installation and clean up were done efficiently and thoroughly. My wife loves to garden, and she never found a single nail. We would confidently recommend Green Renovations to our family and friends.

Selecting a quality, trustworthy roofer is a process particularly when our need was not related to an insurance claim. We contacted CertainTeed and asked for their certified roofers in the area; Green Renovations was their recommendation. We contacted Ben, and from the initial conversation, he was professional and knowledgeable. He walked us through what needed to be done along with the options we researched from CertainTeed. In addition to Green Renovations, we looked at six other roofers and two other roofing products. In the end, we selected Green Renovations and were extremely happy with the work. Ben and his team were fantastic! They cleaned up each day and respected our fragile landscaping and patio furniture to avoid damage. The team rolled a magnet across the driveway and patio after each day to ensure that all nails were picked up, which was a huge relief. We are so pleased with Ben's work and the CertainTeed product; the house looks amazing! Thanks, Ben.

We were able to sign an agreement that only took place if insurance paid for 100% coverage. That gave me peace of mind that I wouldn't personally be out a large sum of money. I called Ben/Green Renovations and one other roofer on a whim when I wanted someone to come check a potential roof leak on an old property. Ben answered right away, came out same day and did a super thorough check. He personally handled replacing a few shingles (aka small job - probably not really worth his time but regardless, he did it anyway!) and didn't charge an arm and a leg. When we moved to our new home, we needed a new roof and gutters. Ben gave us the most detailed quote, answered every question we had and then was personally on site every day. We have small children so he also spent time after the job was complete + two additional trips out to magnet the property for any lost nails. He was kind and courteous throughout the whole process. He took pictures of the roof and wrote up a report for my husband and I after everything was done so that we could keep it for our records. He's also just a really nice, straightforward guy. I would trust him with any roof/gutter/siding/window/door project and he will be the *only* person I call for any of those items in the future. 10/10 - highly recommend.

I met Ben on another job, I was really impressed by his commitment and dedication to make sure the job was done correctly. When I needed work done on my roof, I contacted him. He inspected my roof; I don't know how many times he went on the roof and in my attic to find the issue. It was a small area but a major problem, but he wanted to be sure he got the right area. He did a temporary fix to make sure he got the issue. We went for a couple of months through some very torrential rain with no leak, so we knew he got the area. We had set a time for him to come back and do the permanent fix. He was busy, but he let me know when he had to reschedule. He kept me informed, for me that's the a major flag. He treated me with respect and was wonderful through the whole process. I would Highly recommend Green Renovations. I have no hesitations calling them back if I need other work done on my house. After the hail storm earlier this year, roofing companies are offering to replace roofs with expenses to be covered by the homeowner's insurance. Green Renovations LLC is one of those companies. Given the above, my personal experience with Green Renovations has been outstanding for the following reasons. (1) Honesty: a friend referred me to Green Renovations after they checked out his roof at no charge and told him that his roof did not need repair. (2) Work ethic: while I had to file the claim (with Green Renovations helping me with the process), Green Renovations arranged the visit with the insurance representative without the need for me to be present. Green Renovations also did the post-work cleanup by removing all the nails, etc. on the premises. They also saw an unsafe electrical condition with an attic fan on my roof and addressed it, though they were not contractually obligated to do so. (3) Communication: Green Renovations described to me every step in the process and responded quickly to any query I had.

Met the adjuster, dealt with the insurance end of things and basically had me just pick out the color that we wanted. Went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.
