I had a truly wonderful experience working with Adina Hall Design. My city condo needed a makeover after I became a widow, and I wanted to create a space that once again felt joyful, reflected my style, and served my young family’s evolving needs—all while providing a personal retreat for me as a busy working parent. Adina and her team got it — truly got it. They understood my vague ideas and wishes, shaped them into a beautiful vision, and brought it to life with utmost care, professionalism and incredible attention to detail. We started with my primary bedroom. Adina guided me through the entire process, from our first consultation to the finishing touches, helping me navigate design decisions with expertise and patience. She presented amazing visualizations at each step that made it easy for me to see how everything would come together. Every item in her selection of furniture, lighting, fabrics, decorative objects was truly special and meaningful. She mailed to me samples of fabrics, paint swatches and finishing materials for each presentation to help choose the right options. The result is a space I absolutely love—I finally enjoy being home again! Adina is an exceptionally talented designer and a true professional. She was always available for questions, kept me updated throughout the process, and ensured that every detail was just right. We chose Adina because she was so knowledgeable and skilled in her field, and after our first conversation, I had the sense she would truly listen to us—finding that is rare and she did not disappoint! Adina helped think through the layout design of our first floor, which included an entire kitchen renovation, as well as removing a wall to increase family room space. She also worked so well with our budget when we needed to modify the first floor bathroom, but didn’t have enough in our budget for a complete renovation. I absolutely love the idea she came up with for that space. Adina had a fabulous idea for reimagining the primary bathroom, making a simple change that gave us space for a double sink instead of a pedestal, transforming the space in a smart, cost-effective way. She also supported us in making bold design choices, like the Mediterranean tiles, which reflect our time living in Turkey, and a nature-inspired palette that really resonates with us. Adina helped me realize how important it was for us to bring the outdoors in through design, especially after moving from the mountains of Colorado to live by the lake here in Evanston. Adina fully supported our vision and helped us coordinate everything. She understood exactly what we wanted and helped bring it all together seamlessly. I wanted the house to feel like us… modern and cohesive. Now we have this eclectic mix that I love, and we can’t recommend Adina Hall Design enough for helping us achieve that!

I’ve always been a bit of a challenge when it comes to design—my taste is unique, and not many people truly understand what I love. I’m not a minimalist, but I can’t stand clutter. What I want is a home that stirs my heart, that reminds me of the best moments in my life, a place where I can fall in love with my surroundings again and again, and with who I am. From the moment I started working with Adina, I felt seen in a way no designer has ever made me feel before. She didn’t just listen—she truly understood. I knew what I loved, but bringing it all together into something harmonious was a challenge. I longed for the perfect kitchen but the layout of my home was challenging since it is a custom build. Adina saw the potential like nobody else and all of a sudden I started to see the possibilities that were denied to me before. We carefully chose the finish palette and all the accessories to turn it into the Chef's kitchen I always dreamt of. Since it is an open concept layout it is important that the kitchen is functional and elegant. She guided me with care and intuition—and most of all, with impressive patience. I still feel like I need to apologize for being difficult! What I wanted most was to wake up each day and walk into my kitchen and family room, feeling nothing but joy. And that’s exactly what she helped me achieve. Now, my home feels like a feast for the senses. I love the colors, the memories they evoke, and the way my old and new furniture blend together so beautifully. I love the harmony in every corner. It’s more than I ever envisioned—thank you Adina! Believe it or not you changed my life!

I can’t thank Adina enough for her incredible work on our master bathroom! When we first started talking about the redesign, we knew we needed to make the most of a small, outdated space, but I honestly had no idea how much of a transformation was possible. Adina took our vision and turned it into reality, creating a spa-like sanctuary that feels like an escape every time we step in. The cramped, dated bathroom is now open, light, and airy—everything we dreamed of. Adina really listened to our needs and understood how important it was to have both functionality and style. She had so many great suggestions, from clever storage solutions to creating a soothing color palette, all while maintaining a modern, serene atmosphere. I hired Adina given her robust design and architecture experience. She completely transformed the look and feel through our phase 1 workings of a newly purchased seasonal condo which focused on paint color, door color, and flooring. After reviewing several engineered woods, she helped choose the perfect color which set the tone for the entire space. She took initiative to order samples from various suppliers where I had the option to pursue her trade discount as a client. She chose the perfect color for all interior doors and transformed the fireplace into a magazine worthy sight. She also provided specifications for the electricians to install canned and spot lighting based on the open layout. She was even on a virtual call with the electrician on site to ensure final proper placement in order to work around ceiling joist issues. I highly recommend Adina for projects of any size or scope!
