Ruben and his team at A Grade Construction are outstanding. We found them after months of frustration dealing with an interior water issue caused by an exterior problem that our HOA should have been maintaining whether roof, gutter, or tuckpointing related. What began in January with the initial discovery dragged on for months without resolution, and by August, with a newborn on the way, we were at our wits’ end. Ruben was the first person who truly helped us get to the bottom of the problem. He and his team identified exactly where the exterior water intrusion was coming from and quickly put together a clear scope of work focused on the tuckpointing issues contributing to the problem. We had lived with part of our living room wall cut open for nine months, watching vendor after vendor attempt roof and gutter fixes that didn’t solve anything. Every rainstorm became a test of whether water would appear again. When A Grade’s work under the original scope was nearly finished, Ruben’s team noticed additional concerns. Instead of stopping there, they went above and beyond—adding sealant on the exterior at their own cost to ensure the problem was fully resolved. Thanks to them, we finally have a dry living room again. We cannot recommend A Grade Construction highly enough. If you need exterior repairs or tuckpointing done right, this is the team to call.

I worked with a delightful person name Ruben, who came to my home to address some concerns about some water damage on my ceiling. I liked the infrared system he used to be able to see any issues or nonissues in my ceiling, and he did a thorough inspection of my roof. There was an issue with a small section of my roof and tin vent. Ruben fixed the issue, addressed all my questions, and made sure to use quality products (an iron vent instead of a cheap tin is one example). I will definitely use his service and expertise in the future. Ruben was more concerned about the quality of his work and that it was done to my satisfaction than payment. I feel that I was more concerned about payment for his excellent service than he was, as his concern was focused on a job well done. Thank you Ruben you are truly one in a million.

It's rare that you find people in the construction industry genuinely concerned with the quality of their work. Ruben visited my garage after the crew finished, and before I even said anything to him told me it wasn't good enough and they would be back the next day to re-do all their work so it looked perfect (he even replaced more trim than I paid for, to make up for the inconvenience). Wow. Seriously 5-star service. (the service was quite reasonably priced as well)

I never just call one company for a quote, I usually call 4. Not this time. I called this company for a roof repair, Ruben arrived on time and was very meticulous in his inspection. He provided a quote and once hired he couldn’t have made things any easier - took care of the town permits and inspectors, did the repair, did the follow ups with the town, passed inspections. I found A Grade searching Google. Upin my dismay, a lot of companies did not service my zip code. I called A Grade after hours and Ruben got back to me immediately the next day. He scheduled an appointment, his technicians were on prompt, and he was a very good communicator throughout.
